Mithun MajeeDefended Ph.D. thesis in May 2020. Title: "Correlation of local crystal structure and physical properties of Multifunctional Oxides".
Priyadarshini Suchismita Behera Defended Ph.D. thesis in November 2017 Title: "Exploring correlation between local structure, magnetic and transport properties of multifunctional Cr-based chalcospinels".

Gowthamaraju S. M.Phil from Bharathiar University. Joined the group in June, 2015 and submitted the thesis in December 2020. Awaiting thesis defence.
Works on thermoelectric properties of Tin Selenides.
Tamalika Samanta M.Sc. from University of Calcutta. Joined the group in December, 2016.
Theme of the research topic is to study and understand the magneto-strutural correlation in Heusler alloys.
Bikash Ranjan Shaoo M.Phil. from Sambalpur University, Odisha. Joined the group in July 2019.
My reserach interest is the investigation of interrelationship between different physical properites and local structure. Introducing strain and stress effects within the functional materials is my immediate goal.
Kulbhusahn Mishra M.Sc. from Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology. Joined the group in December 2019.
My focus is to understand the magnetic structure of Heusler alloys using Neutron diffrcation. I do study the electronic part using DFT calculation.
Anlin KurianM.Sc. from Central University of Kerala. Joined the group in July 2020.
The theme of my research work is to study structural and magnetic properties of full Heuslers.
Aarti Lakhara M.Sc. from Mohan Lal Sukhadia University, Udaipur. Joined the group in December 2020.
The theme of my research work is to study thermoelectric properties of 2D Chalcogenides.
