My group focuses on designing new pincer and N-heterocyclic carbene ligands and their transition metal complexes capable of the following type of reactivities:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Small molecule activation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>C-H activation and functionalisation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Investigation of fundamental aspects of these activities and their mechanisms are carried out for the potential application in the development of renewable energy and sustainable chemical processes, including the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>CO<sub>2<\/sub> capture, functionalisation, and reduction<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>H<sub>2<\/sub> production, storage, and transportation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Development of Liquid Organic Hydrogen Carriers (LOHCs)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Catalytic systems for hydrogenation\/dehydrogenation reactions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Catalytic systems for C-C, C-N, and C-O bond-forming reactions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Selected Publications<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Yadav, E.; Nath, S.; Saha, A.; Singh, A.
