Dr. Mobin Shaikh, Associate Professor (Chemistry) has been awarded the "Most Outstanding Researcher Award" by Careers360 for his outstanding achievements as one among Top 10 in Chemistry Researchers in India.

Prof. Pierre Braunstein visited Discipline of Chemistry as foreign professor under GIAN program in Feb. 2018. He has also delivered a Public Lecture on N-heterocyclic pincer ligands and their catalytic applications.

RSC-IIT Indore conference on Advances in Chemical Sciences was organized by the Discipline of Chemistry on Jan. 30, 2018. The symposium aims to highlight the development of functional nanomaterials, crystal engineering, organic solar cells, bio-imaging, computation chemistry and explore research collaborations between the UK and India.

IIT Indore-TU9 2 nd Research Workshop held on Oct 5-6, 2017, where speakers from TU Berlin, Univ. Hannover, KIT, RWTH Aachen, Univ. Stuttgart, IIT Mandi, IIT Ropar have attended the workshop. This workshop aims to strengthen research links between IIT and TU9 institutes.

Dr. Deepika (PhD IIT Indore) is awarded Leibniz-DAAD felowship to work with Prof. Matthias Beller at Leibniz Institute for Catalysis, Germany, where she will be working on the development of homogenous catalysts for CO2 utilization.
