Discover the Healthy Life in Faster Way
The Nucleic Acid Ligand Database (NALDB) is a dedicated chemoinformatics resource that provide detailed pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics collected data (Kd, Ki, IC50, target sequence, target name and structure etc. ) for variety of nucleic acid targets including G-quadruplex DNA, G-quadruplex RNA, double stranded DNA, double stranded RNA, nucleic acid aptamers, and special structure nucleic acid. Nucleic acids are an important players in cellular processes including DNA replication, transcription, translation and catalysis. The alteration in nucleic acid sequence and their structure might lead to diseased cell state. Small molecules may interact with nucleic acid and regulates their activity. Based on nucleic acid-ligand interaction various kinetics as well as structural information are assembled together to make this database user friendly. This database is freely available which can be browse and search by various nucleic targets, ligands structure and property. This portal also allows users to download small molecules conformation file targeting particular type of nucleic acid structure which would expedite the drug discovery process.
