Entry at gate on the basis of identification through membership cards only.
Appropriate Swimming Costume and Caps are compulsory for personal safety and
modesty, use of goggles is optional.
All fraternity members who want to use the swimming pool will be issued
membership cards. Swimming is prohibited without a membership card.
Membership card is not transferable.
A member should make an entry in the register before entering the swimming pool.
Members are advised not to move around the pool deck and distract the lifeguards
during pool hours.
Swimming costume is a must for using the swimming pool. Costume should be
non-transparent and non-white in color.
Drinking, smoking and eating in the pool or in the paved area around the pool is
strictly prohibited.
The Swimming Pool will be closed on Sunday.
The timings also include 15 minutes for shower and changing.
Request for use of the pool during other slots will not be accepted. You can swim
only during the timings allotted to you.
Swimming pool minimum depth: 1.35m and maximum depth 2.00m.
Members must take a bath before entering the swimming pool. If necessary, it is
advised to use soap to remove any oil from hair.
Scum gutter is to be used for spitting or blowing while inside the pool.
Swimming or diving is strictly prohibited in the absence of a lifeguard.
The swimming pool facility is available for children above 6 years of age.
Beginners below 12 years old should be accompanied by their parents.
While practicing diving, ensure that the diving area is clear of swimmers.
Never push anyone into the pool and never swim beyond your capacity.
All viewers should remain in the gallery arena only.
Photography in the pool premises is not allowed unless prior permission is
obtained. Mobile phones/cameras will have to be kept in the lockers for swimmers
as well as spectators.
Metallic objects like rings, watch, neck chain etc. will have to be removed before
entering the swimming pool.
Spitting and any other unhygienic acts in or around the pools or decks are
prohibited.
Use of rubber, air mattresses, toys balls, and any other toy items are not permitted.
No person shall be allowed to wear footwear on the deck except for authorized
personnel.
Student Gymkhana or Coach has the right to use any of the slots for student’s
camp, inter hostel meet or any other activity that has been approved by the Sports
Committee.
Users of the pool will have to leave the pool during heavy raining/ thunderstorms/
lightning/ emergency situations and shall do so immediately when directed or
instructed by lifeguard or indicated by long whistle blasts.
The authority reserves the right to close the swimming pool as and when deemed
fit.
A fine of INR 2000 shall be extracted from the person who breaks the rules
mentioned above.
Non-compliance of the above-mentioned rules would invite cancellation of
membership and/or strict disciplinary action. Decision of the Sports Committee
would be final.
