Non-compliance of the above-mentioned rules would invite cancellation of
membership and/or strict disciplinary action. Decision of the Sports Committee
would be final.
Entry and exit times must be entered in the logbook.
Courts should be used only for playing Squash.
Courts would be available on a first come-first serve basis.
Vacation of the court is to be done for pre-reserved events.
Sports Rigs are compulsory for everyone. In case of improper attire, entry to the
courts shall be denied.
Gum sole Squash shoes are mandatory when using the courts. Running shoes
and other gum soled shoes are strictly not permitted.
It is mandatory that all the Squash players bring their shoes (gum sole, nonmarking shoes) exclusively for the indoor hall only. If somebody comes even with
proper shoes from outside, they will not be allowed to use the badminton court.
Please wear the shoes to be used for badminton in the designated area inside
the badminton hall.
The Institute Squash team will be given priority for the team practice.
Lights will be switched off by 2200 hrs. To use them after 2200 hrs, prior
permission from the Sports Officer is compulsory.
Issued equipment should be used properly and returned after use without any
damage.
Damage to the courts or equipment would imply a strict disciplinary action and/or
fine against the offender.
Disposing of the trash is to be done in proper receptacles.
Eatables are not allowed on the courts.
For getting sports equipment, students need to enter his/her details in a logbook
in the Sports office/ Reception, submit their ID and get the equipment; they can
collect ID as soon as they return the equipment.
A fine of INR 2000 shall be extracted from the person who breaks the rules
mentioned above. Non-compliance of the above-mentioned rules would invite strict
disciplinary action. Decision of the Sports Committee would be final.
Above-mentioned rules are not exhaustive, and Institute is free to
modify/amend/delete/add new rules.
