  • IEEE Senior Membership (2023): Dr. Saptarshi Ghosh has been elavated to IEEE Senior Member.
  • INAE Young Engineer Award (2022): Dr. Saptarshi Ghosh has been selected for the for the conferment of INAE Young Engineer Award 2022 by Indian National Academy of Engineering (INAE), India.
  • IETE-IRSI (83) Young Scientist Award (2022): Dr. Saptarshi Ghosh has been selected for IETE-IRSI (83) Young Scientist Award 2022 by the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE).
  • Motohisa Kanda Award (2022): Recipient of the Motohisa Kanda Award for authoring one paper, which received the highest citations among all the papers published in the last 5 years (2017-2021) in IEEE Transactions on Electromagnetic Compatibility.
  • Young Scientist Award (2022): Selected as one of the Young Scientist Awardee in 3rd URSI Atlantic Radio Science Meeting (AT-RASC) held at Gran Canaria, Spain on May 29- June 3, 2018.

Tentzeris, and Sungjoon Lim in 2018 International Symposium on Antennas and Propagation (ISAP 2018) in Bhusan, Korea on 23-26 October, 2018.
  • Honorable Mention Award (2018): Selected as Honorable Mention and received $1500 stipend for the paper entitled “A Novel DNA Inspired Mode and Frequency Reconfigurable Origami Helical Antenna” authored by Syed Imran Hussain Shah, Saptarshi Ghosh, and Sungjoon Lim in 2018 IEEE AP-S Student Paper Competition held at Boston, Massachusetts, USA on 8-13 July, 2018.
  • Best Paper Award (2017): Received best paper award for the paper entitled “A Polarization-Insensitive Frequency Selective Radome with Wideband Absorption” authored by Ritesh Pandey, Saptarshi Ghosh, Harsh Sheokand, Mondeep Saikia, and Kumar Vaibhav Srivastava in 4th IEEE UP Section Conference on Electrical Computer and Electronics (IEEE UPCON) held at GLA University, Mathura, India on 26-28 October 2017.
  • International Travel Grant (2016): Received International Travel Grant from Department of Science and Technology, India for presenting two papers in URSI Commission B International Symposium on Electromagnetic Theory (EMTS) held in Espoo, Finland on 14-18 August, 2016.
  • Best Paper Award (2016): Received third best paper award for the paper entitled “Ultra-thin Dual-band Polarization-Insensitive Metamaterial Absorber for C-Band Applications” authored by Sameer Sharma, Saptarshi Ghosh, Mondeep Saikia, and Kumar Vaibhav Srivastava in 3rd IEEE UP Section Conference on Electrical, Computer and Electronics (IEEE UPCON) held at IIT BHU, Varanasi, India on 9-11 December, 2016.
  • International Travel Grant (2015): Received European Microwave Association Student Grant of € 500 for presenting a paper in 45th European Microwave Conference (EuMC) held in Paris, France on 6-11 September 2015.
  • Student Paper Contest (2015):Participated and shortlisted among top 5 candidates in Student Paper Competition in 2nd URSI Regional Conference on Radio Science held in New Delhi, India on 16-19 November 2015.
  • Journal Cash Award (2014):Received Journal Cash Award of Rs. 20000 from Resource and Alumni Office, Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur for publishing two SCI Indexed Journal papers during M. Tech. Programme in 2014.
  • Journal Cash Award (2014):eceived Journal Cash Award of Rs. 10000 from Resource and Alumni Office, Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur for publishing one SCI Indexed Journal paper during Ph.D. in 2014.

  • IEEE AP-S Pre-Doctoral Grant (2024): Mr. Saim Rehan, MTech student in our group, has been selected for the IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society (AP-S) Eugene F. Knott Memorial Pre-Doctoral Research Grant for 2023 and received a scholarship of $3,500 for pursuing his research in areas of reflectarrays.
  • PMRF Fellowship (2023): Mr. Akhial Gouda, PhD student in our group, has been selected for the pretigious Prime Minister Research Fellowship (PMRF) 2023 in cycle 11 admission.
  • International Mobility Grants (2023): Mr. Akhial Gouda, PhD student in our group, has received International Mobility Grants (both from Unievrsity of Rennes, France and IIT Indore, India) to carry out a two-month short-term research work at the University of Rennes, France.
  • IEEE AP-S Graduate Scholarship (2023): Mr. P. Megh Sainadh, PhD student in our group, has been selected for the IEEE AP-S Graduate Scholarship – 2023 and received a scholarship of $5,000 for pursuing his research in areas of reconfigurable frequency selective surfaces.
  • IEEE AP-S Undergraduate Scholarship (2023): Mr. Saurabh Kichouliya, BTech student in our group, has been selected for the IEEE AP-S Undergraduate Scholarship – 2023 and received a scholarship of $3,000 for pursuing his research in areas of conformal frequency selective surfaces using 3-D printing.
  • APS Student Travel Grant (2023): Mr. Akhila Gouda, PhD student in our group, has been selected for the IEEE AP-S 2023 Student Travel Grant of $1000 USD. He is one of the top 20 outstanding applicants receiving the grant this year.
  • DST Awsar Award (2023): Mr. Priyank Mishra, PhD student in our group, has been selected for the DST Awsar Award for the Best Popular Science Story under PhD category for the year 2022.
  • IEEE MTT-S Undergraduate Scholarship (2023): Mr. Aryan Rastogi, BTech student in our group, has been selected for the IEEE MTT-S Undergraduate Scholarship – 2023 Cycle 1 Awards and received a scholarship of $1,500 for pursuing his research in areas of reconfigurable intelligent surfaces (RISs).
  • URSI-RCRS Student Paper Award (2022): Mr. Priyank Mishra, PhD student in our group, has received Third Best Paper Award in Student Paper Competition for the paper entitled “Artificial Magnetic Conductor Based Printed Monopole MIMO Antenna for 5G WBAN Applications” authored by Priyank Mishra, and Saptarshi Ghosh in 5th URSI Regional Conference on Radio Sciences (URSI-RCRS 2022), IIT Indore, India, 01-04 December 2022.
