Research Interests: Estimation and filtering with Non-Gaussian noises.
Traditional filtering algorithms assume the noises appearing in the systems to be Gaussian. However,
in practical, non-Gaussian (heavy-tailed) noises are common and cause poor filtering performance.
My research area is focused on developing advanced filtering algorithms which can take care of
non-Gaussian noises.

Research Interests: Non-linear filtering for the systems with randomly delayed measurements.
In many systems, the measurement received at any instant may actually belong to any of previous time step, i.e., randomly delayed
measurements. Most of the literature available on filtering for the systems with randomly delayed measurements are limited
to linear systems only. My research interest is to develope advanced filtering algorithms for the non-linear systems with randomly
delayed measurements.

Research Interests: Estimation and filtering with randomly delayed and missing measurements.
Conventional filtering algorithms are developed on the assumption that measurements
are available at each sampling instant. However, presence of uncertainties such as delay and missing measurements results in
imperfect observations. The estimation provided by ignoring such possibilities is inaccurate. My research area is focused on
developing advanced filtering algorithms which can take care of these uncertainties.

Research Interests: Estimation & Filtering for dynamic control systems.
Real-time systems are non-linear in nature. However, the Kalman filter (KF), an optimal filter is designed for linear systems only.
Later many extensions of KF were proposed for nonlinear state estimation.
My research area is focused on developing Quadrature rule-based filtering algorithms that can improve the accuracy of state estimation.
