New paper in Dalton Transactions

One of our most awaited papers is now online, published in Dalton Transactions.

Role of ancillary ligands in selectivity towards acceptorless dehydrogenation versus dehydrogenative coupling of alcohols and amines catalyzed by cationic ruthenium(ii)–CNC pincer complexes – Dalton Transactions (RSC Publishing)

In this paper, we have described the unexpected reversal in the catalytic activity of cationic Ru(II)–CNC pincer complexes for dehydrogenative coupling compared to acceptorless dehydrogenation, which can be explained using the trans effect of the auxiliary ligands (CO > COD > DMSO ≈ PPh3).

Congratulations, Rahul, Dibya and all co-authors!
