  • Doctoral research scholar Mr. Kunal Gupta received Young Scientist Award in Civil Engineering from the Madhya Pradesh Council of Science and Technology during the 39th Young Scientist Congress 2024 for his research paper titled, "Integrating Real-time Sensor Data for Improved Hydrogeotechnical Modelling in Landslide Early Warning in Western Himalaya".
  • Dr. Minu Treesa Abraham received the IGS-Prof. Leonard's Annual Award 2022 for the best PhD Thesis in Geotechnical Engineering by the Indian Geotechnical Society, for her Thesis titled, "Rainfall Induced Landslides in the Western Ghats, India: Spatio-temporal Forecasting and Debris Flow Modeling."
  • Dr. Meghna Sharma delivered the Bright Spark Lecture 2023 at the Indian Geotechnical Conference 2023 (IGC 2023).
  • Dr. Minu Treesa Abraham received the Best Referee Award 2021, by the journal Geoscience Frontiers, Elsevier.

  • Doctoral research scholar Mr. Kunal Gupta received the best theme paper award for his article titled, "An integrated approach to co-seismic landslide hazard assessment by probabilistic modelling of parametrical uncertainties in modified Newmark's model" in 9th Indian Young Geotechnical Engineers Conference, Aurangabad.
  • Doctoral research scholar Mr. Kunal Gupta received the Short term Collaborative Research Fellowship from IIT Indore to travel to the University of Florence, Italy for conducting part of his PhD research for three months.
