HOW TO REACH IIT INDORE
The permanent campus of IIT Indore is located at Simrol on Khandwa Road, approximately 25 km from the city center. Visitors can reach the campus using the following modes of transportation:
By Air
The nearest airport is Devi Ahilya Bai Holkar Airport (IDR), Indore, which is approximately 32 km from the campus. Pre-paid taxis and app-based cabs (Ola/Uber) are readily available from the airport directly to the Simrol campus.
By Train
The nearest major railway station is Indore Junction (INDB), located about 25 km away. You can hire a taxi or auto-rickshaw from the station. Alternatively, local city buses run from the nearby Bhanwarkuan area directly towards Simrol.
